How the Hometown Hoops Season Works

A structured, competitive, coach-friendly format built for New Jersey town programs.

The Season Overview

  • Teams register by early November

  • Indicate preferred division

  • Provide basic roster + contact info

  • Teams placed by competitive level, not geography

  • Goal: meaningful games all season

  • Final divisions released before season start

Division Placement

  • December – February

  • Structured schedule released

  • Reschedule games with 4 days notice

  • Standings tracked by division

Regular Season Play

  • Late February – Early March

  • All teams eligible

  • Seeded within division

  • Multiple brackets if division size requires it
