Yes. Games may be rescheduled with a minimum of 4 days notice and mutual agreement between both coaches. Games should be played within 7 days of the originally scheduled play date, where possible. Our goal is flexibility without chaos — reschedules must be confirmed and communicated through the league to ensure referee assignments, standings and playoff eligibility remain accurate.

The league fee is $275 per team. Towns or teams who join us for our inaugural season will lock in the $275 league fee for all teams from their town for 3 years! Referees are paid for each game. See "How do referees get paid?" FAQ for more information.

The league handles all referee scheduling! Referees are paid $35 per game per team on the court. There are 2 referees per game. If you are unable to pay referees cash directly, the league will handle that for you for an additional $10 per game. We will invoice your town for the full cost of referee payments and then funds will be provided to your coaches before the season starts.

Divisions are based on competitive level — not geography. When registering, programs indicate their preferred division. Final placement is determined by: • Past performance • Coach input • Program history • Overall competitive balance across the league Our priority is meaningful, evenly matched games all season long.

Division changes may be requested early in the season if competitive placement is clearly off. We evaluate: • Game results • Margin of play • Competitive parity • Impact on the rest of the division Midseason moves are handled carefully to protect fairness for all teams.

Playoff seeding is based on: • Overall record • Head-to-head results • Point differential (if needed) • Strength of schedule (if applicable) Final seeding and brackets are published before the start of postseason play.

Because this is a winter league, weather cancellations are rare — but if they occur: • Teams work together to reschedule within the season window. • Makeup games must follow league rescheduling guidelines. • Playoff eligibility (12-game minimum) still applies. We build flexibility into the calendar to accommodate unexpected interruptions.

Yes. Each division (Uptown, Crosstown, Downtown) runs its own structured playoff bracket. If there are clear groups within Divisions, we may run multiple brackets per Division. This ensures: • Teams compete against appropriate competition levels • Division champions are crowned at each tier • Competitive balance is maintained through postseason
